Add another number to the roster of Dark Matter.

Actually, Shaun Sipos will be playing a character who has an actual name: Devon, a once world-class surgeon who’s now haunted by a dark past that may spell trouble for himself and his fellow crew members (and by that we assume the crew of the good ship Raza).

Shaun Sipos has a few horror movies on his resume, including Final Destination 2 (2003), The Grudge 2 (2006), Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) (also, awesome), Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) and The Remaining (2014). His television credits include The Vampire Diaries, Life Unexpected, Melrose Place, Shark, Complete Savages and Maybe It’s Me.

Dark Matter Season 2 commences on July 1 at 10/9c.

Shaun join ‘Arm The Animals’ campaign

Shaun joined this campaign against animals  euthanasia . The current animal euthanasia statistics are staggering! Every year 4,000,000 – 5,000,000 animals are euthanized because people simply don’t do the basics for their pets. It’s no longer an option to spay, neuter, feed, water and love your pets – it’s mandatory! If you make the decision to own an animal, you should at least have the heart to make sure they are healthy and cared for! I think we can all agree on that. MORE HERE

Plot Details from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D

The film takes place years after the events of the original Tobe Hooper film and involves a girl named Heather who discovers that she’s related to Leatherface:

[Thanks to STYD] “Twenty years ago, the town of Newt, Texas exacted vengeance on the Sawyer family for their role in assisting and concealing murders committed by the chainsaw-wielding maniac Jeb Sawyer, aka “Leatherface.” The entire family was presume killed when Burt Hartman led the townspeople to burn down their farm house, but the Sawyer infant survived and was secretly taken away by two of the vigilante townies, Gavin and Arlene, and raised their daughter Heather. It’s not until she’s in her twenties that Heather learns that she’s adopted. A lawyer for her grandmother tracks her down with word she’s been left an inheritance.

Angry at her parents for lying to her, she sets out for Texas on a road trip with her boyfriend Ryan, friends Nikki and Kenny, and Darryl, a hitchhiker they pick up on the way.”

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D is directed by John Luessenhop, and stars Alexandra Daddario, Scott Eastwood, Bill Moseley, Tania Raymonde, Trey Songz, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, Shaun Sipos, Thom Barry, Paul Rae, and Richard Riehle. The movie will be released on October 5th, 2012.

Professore Unexpected

Life Unexpected, sempre su The CW.
